This is the latest most talkabout restaurant in KL and whenever someone talks about Japanese food, the first question that most people ask will be “Eh, have you tried Tenji”?

So yes I went there last week since they are having promotion now until the end of this month, you can get more details from Neo’s blog here.
The place is kinda big, the ambiance is good and it’s divided into indoor and outdoor seating. Here’s how the outdoor looks like:

And I was sitting indoor that day with Irene:

Along with Thai and Yen:

KK and Ying:

Not going into details on the food but generally the varieties are Japanese:

Chinese:

Western:

And also the rich dessert bar where all sort of cookies, cakes, jellies and Haagan Dazs ice-cream are available:

My rating? I think it’s a little overrated but it certainly worth the promotional price.

Wow. My favorite part is always the desserts. Are they good?
So which is better – Tenji or Jogoya or Xenri?
Hey boss, why you no belanja me ha?
Wow, looks good! Not only they have Japanese, they got western and chinese too! Well worth the price. Do they have deep fried sushi?
emotionalistic: yes they were good.. but the queue was long
foongpc: i hv no idea because ive never tried jogoya or xenri!
Neo: aiya, u shud say earlier ma… sure i belanja geh
doreen: no they dun hav tat… the sushi was lacking in variety
Your gf is very lenglui ler.
eh, belanja me!
i tried jogoya…seriously not bad at all
da succulent oysters…heaven!
totally agree. overrated but worth the price at promotional rate. their marketing has been excellent though- now almost everybody knows tenji
Nowadays, got a lot of japanese buffet, have you heard about yaki yaki near bukit bintang recently?
Irenelim: haha thanks.. btw her name is IreneLim also….
annant: u shud try the oyster at Tenji.. i heard it’s better than Jogoya’s
howshouse: yes, good marketing
keeyit: yes, heard a lot from MyFm…not sure whether if they hav promotion or not..
Oh, maybe you should try Jogoya. According to some people, Jogoya is better. But I don’t really know cos I’ve not tried Tenji : )
So, Tenji is fusion, not Japanese?
wuw, sushi sushi sushi.
I really love japannese food.
hehe
foongpc: haha i think i wanna try yaki yaki… see whether can book place or not first…
khengsiong: yes u can say that…
SkinCareLib: me too
Oh, forget about Jogoya! Just went there last night! Horrible! Standards dropped drastically since the last time I went there.
They have this VIP membership and if you are not a member, you can’t eat certain food like lobsters! Even as a VIP, you are allowed to eat 1 VIP food only once. But with VIP card, you get 50%, so may be worth it.
foongpc: so many rules and restrictions for a dinner.. ive lost interest in Jogoya now…
again u all went ‘ho liao’ without inviting me. u remember!
