Ok, wanna write about one of the interesting things that I did when I was in Ipoh last week. It started when a few good buddies of mine from KL went all the way up to Ipoh to visit me! Yes that’s really nice of them but it doesn’t sound convincing if I tell you that they went all the way up to the north just to visit me and visit me only right? Well there was actually something else in their mind and that something else is called whitewater rafting.
And when I say water and rafting, it literally means getting wet and the sad thing about getting wet is, I couldn’t carry my camera along. And KeatYung if you are reading this, I think you must be laughing out so loud now because this was the reason why you bought your Olympus 850sw which can go underwater. I hope you have forgotten the way I laughed at you when you told me about snapping photos underwater
BUT, this doesn’t mean that I do not have anything to show! Because I’ve successfully found some really great photos from other bloggers who managed to capture the moment and one of them is Experian KL. Yay~
The whole experience was really fun, they claimed that the whole journey down the river was around 7km but I think it’s lesser than that actually and it took around 2 hours. And the whole thing costs RM155 per person.
These are the buddies that I was talking about
Nasi lemak was provided as lunch and please take a closer look at these nasi lemak. Each plate of this rice with some tiny dead fish and sambal costs RM15!!! Kanasai-nya.
Another photo of us because Ah Cow wasn’t in the first one.
Ps: Thankiu Carrine for all the photos here

next time when i visit ipoh must give this a shot!
being adventurous ma
how come da nasi lemak so overprice one!!!
So much fun!!! NZ is known for its whitewater rafting I haven’t had the guts to try. LOL
The one I had in KK served BBQ for lunch (instead of your miserable nasi lemak)
annant: yah i think u shud try
… but not the nasi lemak of course
cc: oh really??! wait till i have the chance to visit NZ… then maybe we can form a team hehe…
S: whoa~ so nice…. how’s yr rafting experience??
I’ve been to Gopeng a number of times few years ago but didnt know there is water rafting there. So how long does it take to go to the place from Penang island?
emotionalistic: yah the place is quite deep inside… transportation is provided from Gopeng bus station to the rafting spot.. so u dun hav to worry about that hehe…
if u are from Penang, then ull need less than 2 hours drive to Gopeng… it’s just another town beside Ipoh
finally u know my reason to buy my camera lei…hahaha…
keatyung: yes i know now.. hahaha… but u havent shown me any underwater photos yet woh
It was awesome!
I would do it again at anytime
