My internet connection is killing me

Just when I thought everything works fine finally after having my router changed, I woke up in despair this morning when I found out that I couldn’t online again! I called up Streamyx technical assistance and they said my port was down and will send someone over to fix it on Monday. On Monday! I was thinking of telling him how important internet connection is to me but I think he couldn’t do anything else either. Why couldn’t internet services be like power or water supply at home, which rarely runs out or interrupted?
