It’s been a while since my last post because I hardly have time for anything else other than work. But it’s not my work that I’m blaming because it’s well understood that programming and IT related fields are the most stressful profession followed by medicine and engineering (Top 10 most stressful professions)
Building software is very different compared with building a house. Customers will not bang on those walls in their house to check whether it’s hard enough and they will not complain that they do not understand how the bathroom door works because it’s different from the one before. And they will certainly not keep on opening every single door in their house for 100 times and complain that they heard a creaking sound on the 74th time. Even though if they really do, replacing the door can be done easily without having any effects on other parts of the house. Honestly, no offence to anyone particularly because I do understand that this is the nature of software development and how things get done.
Apart from work, a little bit on the personal side. I thought I was popular in Sarawak last week because, another stranger added me in msn claiming that she somehow searched my name in Yahoo. But later, she told me that she got it from another net friend of mine, what a disappointment hahaha…
Birthday is coming, and it’s only a week away. Well I don’t have the tradition to make it a big day for myself like throwing a party, but certainly it’s a lot happier to have some friends who remember it. Yes, purely remembers it will do. Thanks CK and WY for suggesting to dine with me and yes, you can forget my present as long as both of you grab the bill :p. Oh come on, do some boat pushing will you? And S, thanks for offering me the cake. Wait, should I say those cakes since I can order as many as I like? And friends at EB, although we sucks in organizing gathering but at least, you guys remembered! Yah I know, maybe it’s those friendster reminder or something but thanks for the attempt to do something for me haha… Friends at UM…. no news yet… *wink* *wink*.
To M, yes I think it’s the best birthday present and no one beats yours even if I receive diamond this year hahaha. Everything goes so well now according to the plan (both short and long term) but even though it sidetracked a little, I believe it won’t hurt us even a tiny bit right?
