5 Golden Rules To Beat Google

Very often, we heard people complaining about how sucks their present job is and how they wish they could get certain benefits from their employers. And with the recent study of Forbes’ 100 best companies to work for in the world, I do have some similar opinions to share.

The 3 best employers that top the list are Google the search company, followed by Genentech a biotech leader and Wegmans Food Market at the 3rd spot. Well I’m not sure about how good Genentech and Wegmans are but I did pay a lot of attention to Google on how good they pamper their employee since they first started. Some of the benefits of Google are like unlimited free gourmet meals, laundy, massages, sports, games and etc. Furthermore, employees are given 20% of their working hour to work on their own independent project. To have an idea visually, view this Job at Google

And here, I would like to make an oath to everyone who is reading this. If somehow I can have my own IT business one day with revenues of only 10% of what Google is earning now, I will do the following to take over Google’s top spot:

Free meals:

A restaurant with chefs around the world will be built. Employees can actually request their meal which varies from chicken nugget to dolphin’s meat. Employees may also bring along friends and family to enjoy the daily meal time and of course, free of charge.

DIY workplace

Employees may choose or even design their own cubicles or room. They can actually even choose their own furnishings, materials and colors. Choices vary from room brightness control system to sound-proofed glasses.

Free attires

Employees are encouraged to look good so everything from necktie to underwear are provided and employees are free to pick their favorites everyday. If employees couldn’t make up their mind, personal stylist and designers are always ready to tailor for them personally.

Free fitness program

Employees are encouraged to stay fit and healthy and thus, sports and equipments varies from water polo to bungee jumping is provided. Extreme sports which vary from skateboarding to sky diving are encouraged to increase creativity and help employees to free their mind. If employees are confident enough, they may make their own parachute too.

Free electronics and gadgets

A gadget mall will be built. Employees may choose or tailor the specification of their own personal computer. High end hardwares like 29’ inch plasma monitor or servers will be given if requested without any question asked. Employees are also encouraged to replace their old gadgets and peripherals frequently to adapt to the changes of technologies

Yes, that’s what I will do if just in case I can have the chance to beat Google. I always believe that a good working environment will produce happy employees and happy employees increase productivity. Enjoy your work :)
