There is a very familiar theory, or hypothesis, or assumption, or whatever you call it, that we humans were actually chimpanzees a very very long time ago. It’s the process of evolution that makes us how we look today, thanks a lot to evolution. Sorry if I got the fact incorrectly or making the whole thing sounds a little vague because I did not further learn about that after I heard the word ‘evolution’ as it sounds a little complicated to me.
So the next time when I have the chance to visit the zoo where I can see chimpanzees staring at me inside their cage, what I can tell them is “Don’t look at me like that because this is exactly what you will look like a few million years later from now”. Now it makes me wondering since dolphins are the second most intelligent after human, what will they be after the process of evolution a few million years later? Will they take control over those chimpanzee-now-human-later after a few million years because they are more brilliant?
Ok enough of the chimpanzees and dolphins because what I really want to talk about are we, the human being after only 1000 years from now. You might be thinking that we, human being won’t change much because we didn’t change much a thousand years back then but NO! You are wrong! And the reason that I have a big mouth to say that you are wrong is because I’m backed by Dr. Oliver Curry, an evolution theorist.
Ok let me review a little about his brilliant theory. According to the article, human beings will be a lot more good looking due to better nutrition, youth and fertility and all of us will have an average of 6-7 feet of height. Skin color will be uniformed and not like now where we can differentiate races by the color of their skin. We will live longer with an average lifespan of 120 years and that sounds just nice
Well everything comes with a price, and according to the prediction, emotions such as love, trust and sympathy will be lost. And further into the future, we will be further evolved into 2 human categories, and now this is getting more interesting.
Since we are getting choosier with our partner, the good looking ones for example like Jolie and Pitt, Posh and Beck, Cruise and Kat, will produce more good looking people and the not so good looking people will well, produce not-so-good-looking people. When this goes on, the elite (good looking people) will get better life while the ugly ones will separate themselves from the society and will be as ugly as an ogre. The outcome will be similar to the movie “The Time Machine” which is based on a book by HG Wells where the ugly ones live underground and the elites, aboveground.
Sounds a little scary huh, but seriously I only believe half of his theory. Not that I’m someone who believes all those bizarre stuff but I think no matter how advance human beings are, we could not get over discrimination and discrimination divides. It is just a matter of how it divides, whether on physical appearance, intelligence or wealth. So I think the underground-aboveground thing will come true, but I’m not too sure about the good looking and 120 years life span which will happen in just a thousand years more. Can’t wait…
