I read a few articles yesterday about how technology evolves and how the internet takes care of almost everything in our life (Access one of the articles here). So, being part of the human species who will indirectly get involved in this prophecy, I wish to write my own part of predictions on how this technology blooming will affect my looping life. Here it goes.
I unwillingly woke up at 7.00 a.m. in the morning precisely, thanks to my d-pillow which will generate high frequency siren every single working morning. Just right after I jumped off the bed and heading to the wash room, my d-bed folded itself automatically and transformed itself into a couch while the floor lamp intelligently sensed my movements and lighted up my room. On the way to the toilet, I was greeted by Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and that reminds me of my d-surround-system which was embedded in every walls in my house.
After some businesses in the wash room, I walked to my dining room to have my breakfast. While listening to my voice mails which are intelligent enough to filter our unwanted calls, I’d selected my favorite eggs and bacons on my touch screen e-refrigerator and the built-in oven will do its job. In the meantime, I browse through the e-newspaper which was built-in on my dining table and a stock clearance commercial of one of the supermarket nearby caught my attention. I wondered who will have the luxury time to go to supermarket nowadays as you can order anything you want through the e-refrigerator system.
I finished my last bite of the bacon and heading out to my i-car. The intelligence security system sensed my presence through retina scan and this triggered the car’s door open. “To work” was all I need to say and it drove me out of the garage and glided to the high speed driving lane which travels at 200 km/h. On the way to the office, I tried to browse my windscreen for some television program but nothing seems to attract me. So I decided to instead enjoy the morning sun which appeared to be so natural between those concrete and metal skyscrapers
