Loop ends

This is an open letter to LifeIsALoop:

“I’ve known you for more than 3 years, but it was just like yesterday. I really do cherish all the time that we spent, all the laughter and all the crazy things that we had done together. I can be forgetful sometimes but you can remember every single detail between us, which makes walking down memory lane with you a wonderful experience.

But things don’t stay forever, and will eventually come to an end. Sometimes with a purpose, or sometimes the lack of it. But no matter what the reason is, it doesn’t matter anymore. I’m glad that we met, our memories stay, until my time ends.”

This is not a pre or post April Fool’s joke since I’m not sure when I’ll publish this but anyway yes, this post will be the last from LifeIsALoop. To everyone, whether if you are a regular or not, thanks for the time spent reading and commenting, really appreciate it.

This doesn’t mean that I’ll stop blogging though, and in fact I’m still doing it. Just that it’s a more private and low profile one and I’m happy to keep it that way for the time being. But who knows, maybe it will grow and we will get to meet again in the future :)

For all the friendships made, I’m maintaining it of course and for those who are interested to keep in touch can always email/msn me at tengfoong@hotmail.com. Have a nice day life everyone!

I was at Summit Hotel for Chung Khen and Seen Tean’s wedding dinner.

Chung Khen is actually my colleague whose brother happens to be my buddy KK. This is me and KK back then when we were still in uni:

So I was early that day and was thinking of taking photos around. This is how the ballroom looks like:

And right after I took the photo of the ballroom, my camera died because I forgot to feed him with enough power earlier. So there I was, holding a dead camera for the whole night and couldn’t take photo with Chung Khen. But I managed to find a photo of us taken by Kenny last time during annual dinner:

Congrats to Chung Khen and Seen Tean, wish you guys “Hoi hoi sum sum, bak tau dou lou” :D

LifeIsALoop @ Tenji

This is the latest most talkabout restaurant in KL and whenever someone talks about Japanese food, the first question that most people ask will be “Eh, have you tried Tenji”?

So yes I went there last week since they are having promotion now until the end of this month, you can get more details from Neo’s blog here.

The place is kinda big, the ambiance is good and it’s divided into indoor and outdoor seating. Here’s how the outdoor looks like:

And I was sitting indoor that day with Irene:

Along with Thai and Yen:

KK and Ying:

Not going into details on the food but generally the varieties are Japanese:

Chinese:

Western:

And also the rich dessert bar where all sort of cookies, cakes, jellies and Haagan Dazs ice-cream are available:

My rating? I think it’s a little overrated but it certainly worth the promotional price.

After a whole day of work and a burping dinner,

And if it’s a little bit early to go home, what will you guys usually do for a second round? Yam cha seems to be a good idea, or some might choose to do some shopping if they were around malls. But sometimes it’s fun to do something a little out of the very ordinary like for instance, driving to Putrajaya just for the sake of… driving to Putrajaya

And that was what I did on one fine day after dining with Irene. We went to Putrajaya to enjoy the emptiness of the city at night

And also the stunning bridges there

Irene who can’t seem to get off the phone and successfully closed another million dollar business just by sitting on the bridge.

So I took the time to play around with my camera and the Palace of Justice caught my attention

Actually it was the two banners that caught my attention because it says “Buat Kerja” which literally means Do Work. Now who can enlighten me why these banners are there and what purpose do they serve?

What’s that?

Ok maybe I should take a closer look

It’s a doggie!

Everyone please meet Coco!

 Coco is cute isn’t she?

And emo too -.-

It’s Racheal’s birthday today (5th of March) but we already had an early celebration at Melaka.

The place

The cake

The birthday girl

The girls

The guys (what was I looking at -.-)

The very funny photo (now Raymond this is what you’ll get if you don’t smile while taking photos)

Happy birthday Racheal :D

Was at Melaka and found a lovely lighting display behind the Melaka Maritime Museum. And just in case if you were wondering where this Melaka Maritime Museum is, it is actually the pirate ship situated at the heart of the city.

And I was greeted by these 2 glowing elephants at the entrance.

Besides elephants, all the other animals were scattered around the place

And Semut were there wishing me a happy new year

And the Dragun too

There were a few beautifully lit structures

And the place is also situated beside this river

Which kinda reminds me of Clarke Quay

After a day tour at DongZen, let’s fast forward for a few hours and look at the “dark” side of the temple.

It was actually a different experience entirely because the whole temple will be brighten up by lights

And lanterns

Even the Lumbini Garden looked a little fairy-like

And this is how the Zodiac Garden looks like at night

The glowing piggy

And I took the chance to shoot a few photos around

Will visit the place again for another round of photo shooting next year :D

LifeIsALoop

Was tagged by AntzWorld to do this Monster-List, and all I need to do is to write a post to introduce my blog. Come to think about it, I don’t really have an About Me page in my blog and so, it’s about time to do some introduction here.

The Name

LifeIsALoop is a personal space

LifeIsALoop is actually something random I had in mind back then when I was trying to figure out the name for my blog. I had a few other random choices too at that time but I couldn’t remember them now.

The Life

LifeIsALoop doesn’t really serve any extra purpose other than a place for me to express and share things about myself and my thoughts. It’s like a saxophone played by a hermit to enjoy himself hoping that he’ll meet some friends who’ll join in and play together too, or rather, listen to his clumsy music. So sometimes you will see me writing or posting things that will probably make you go -.-, but that’s the point of having a personal space, to do whatever I feel like doing.

The Loop

Anyway my life was quite a routine that time and I basically did the same old thing almost every day. And while writing my “for” loop in the lab during programming classes, I somehow saw my life in it. Just in case if you were wondering, a “for” loop is actually a declaration which allows code to be executed repeatedly based on some conditions specified.

Many have talked about this place, about how impressive the structures are. So I decided to pay a visit

And I went there with 2 lengluis, Irene and Rachael

The place is really huge and remarkable

With big statues like this everywhere

As well as small cute little statues like this too

A pond which is so rich of Koi

And even fountain which I can pretend to make wishes

But what really amazed me was the zodiac garden where all 12 Chinese zodiac animals were displayed

And this is my zodiac sign, The Pig

And the big guy this year goes to…. Mr Cow!
